Our Story
I’m Aaron Katayama, born and raised in Northern California, transplanted to Southern California for college and honestly — I never looked back. Orange County became home, and home became everything.
When I thought about what I wanted to build, it wasn’t just about income. It was about time. Time with my family, time with the people who matter most, and time doing something I genuinely believed in. Kohana Premier Group is that something.
We bring people together through curated craft markets and custom laser engraving — two very different things united by one simple idea: community matters, and everything we create should reflect that.

At Kohana Premier Group we exist to serve everyone — the vendor looking for their next opportunity, the shopper searching for something handcrafted and meaningful, the family looking for a fun local event, and the businesses we are proud to partner with along the way. We believe in building something real, something local, and something worth showing up for.
Meet the Founder
Aaron Katayama
I started Kohana because I wanted a life that kept me close to the people I love most — my family and friends. Growing up in Northern California and building a life in Orange County taught me that community isn’t something you find, it’s something you build.
The name Kohana says everything about who we are. The K is for Katayama, my family name. And Ohana — a word that has always meant the world to me — represents the idea that family is everything and nobody gets left behind. Put them together and you get Kohana: a business built on family, built for community, and built to last.
